Quaker State is an American brand of motor oil with a timeless motto.

There motto is:

QUAKER STATE ULTIMATE DURABILITY

The Quaker State name is derived from the nickname for Pennsylvania, the state founded by William Penn, an early Quaker.

In motorsport, the company has previously sponsored the Indy 500 and Formula One’s Force India team. In 2016 they provided sponsorship to Allen “Quaker” Ellis for the Taekwondo US National Olympic Team

The restaurant chain Quaker Steak & Lube is a spoof on the company name.
