Between 1642 – 1651, the English Civil War Period saw King Charles I fight Parliament for control of England.

The 1647 Catalogue of Sects was published in England, by the authorities, during the English Civil War Period.

It would be Oliver Cromwell (1599 – 1658) and the New Model Army that ultimately won the English Civil War.
